Gear You Can Trust, Returns You Can Count On
Every Greatlakes Outdoor order leaves our warehouse with one goal: getting you out on the trail with confidence. If something isn't quite right when your package arrives, we've kept the return process simple, fair, and free of the fine-print games other stores play.
A Full 30 Days to Decide
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to request a return. That gives you plenty of time to unpack, try things on, and see how your new gear fits into your pack or your weekend plans before making a final call.
What We Need From You
To qualify for a return, items should be unused and in the same condition you received them. Keep the original packaging, tags, and any accessories that came in the box. We want your return to feel as easy as unboxing it did.
Zero Restocking Fees
We don't charge restocking fees. Whatever you paid for the item is exactly what comes back to you. No hidden deductions, no surprise charges.
Starting Your Return
Send an email to support@greatlakes-outdoor.com with your order number and a quick note about what you'd like to return. Our team will reply with the return address and next steps, usually within one business day.
Shipping It Back to Us
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, so you'll cover the cost of sending the item back. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. This protects you if the package goes missing in transit and gives us a way to confirm everything has arrived safely.
Looking to Swap Instead
Prefer to exchange your item for a different size, color, or a completely different product? Just mention it in your return email. We're happy to arrange an exchange whenever the replacement is in stock.
When You'll See Your Refund
Once your return arrives and passes a quick inspection, we'll process your refund within 7 business days. After that, your bank or payment provider may need a few additional days to complete the transfer and show the funds in your account. Timing varies depending on the card or service you used.
